As a highly experienced personal injury attorney, Jan is a dedicated advocate for clients who have suffered life-altering injuries due to negligence. With a particular focus on traumatic brain injury (TBI) cases, she combines deep legal knowledge with a compassionate approach to help clients navigate complex medical and legal challenges. She has successfully handled a wide range of cases, including motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, and wrongful death claims, ensuring her clients receive the compensation they need for long-term recovery. Known for her strategic litigation skills, she is a relentless fighter in and out of the courtroom, always prepared to take cases to trial when necessary.
One of Jan’s great passions is helping victims of traumatic brain injury accidents. She is a Certified Brain Injury Specialist, and prior to joining the Pendleton Law Team, she evaluated and treated TBI patients at a brain injury clinic for 14 years. Jan also published a book on recovering from concussion/traumatic brain injury that hit Amazon’s #1 bestseller list in three categories when published in 2023.
Jan is a member of the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association and works out of our New Kent office.
"I love the Pendleton Law Team because it's women and minority-owned. This truly attracted me to the firm, and I am so happy to be part of an incredible group of people working hard for the Commonwealth of Virginia."
Jan loves to travel, enjoys anything water-related (beach, pool, boating, swimming), and reading. She also has 3 sons, one of whom got married at Disney World, and she has a psycho cat named Chloe who is very naughty.
