Marketing Specialist
Born and raised in Virginia, Jason earned a BFA in musical theater and opera from Shenandoah University. Prior to joining the Pendleton Law Team, Mr. Marks spent the last 20 years a professional freelance artist, and is an accomplished, award-winning singer, actor, and composer. He has an extensive background in office management, previously having served as office manager for SPARC (School of the Performing Arts in the Richmond Community), and also served as a marketing/communications specialist for Virginia Repertory Theatre, central Virginia’s leading professional theater.
As Marketing Specialist, Jason works closely with Chief Marketing Officer Maureen Rayford to ensure a high level of quality content for social media and the Pendleton website, along with assisting in events, creative input, newsletter development, vendor and community relationship building, and many other communications-related efforts that provide clients with an unparalleled experience.

You may have seen Mr. Marks on stage in local theater favorites such as “1776,” “The Producers,” “Shrek,” “Guys & Dolls” and more. He is a 3-time Artsie Award Winner (Richmond Theater Critic’s Circle), holding titles for Best Supporting Actor in a Musical, Outstanding Original Work, and Best Music Direction. He has also been honored by Richmond Magazine as a Theresa Pollak Prize winner for Excellence in the Arts (Theater). His greatest love is being an uncle for his 3 amazing nieces, and his passion is being a professional Santa Claus during the holiday season, and bringing joy to hundreds of children and families all over the state of Virginia.
